At LuxDesigns, we strive to ensure that our customers are completely satisfied with their purchases. However, we understand that sometimes returns or any concerns are necessary.

FAQ

Returns

Returns are processed exclusively as store credit or product exchanges.

​

Returns are accepted only with a valid reason such as: arrive damaged or exhibit a workmanship flaw and must be reported within 14 days of delivery.

​

Please note that items that have been worn, partially removed, or exhibit odors cannot be returned. Before initiating a return, please visit our website to complete the required form, which includes your order number, necessary photographs, and a brief description of the reason for the return.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

​

We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for items valued over $250, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.

 

Upon receiving and inspecting the returned item, we will notify you regarding the approval or rejection of your return. If approved, you will have the option to select either store credit or a product re-engineering, and it will typically be processed within 5-7 business days.

We meticulously customize and engineer our products solely based on the measurements we receive from our clients. Before submitting and sending in, please ensure that your measurements are accurate and verified to avoid any potential inconveniences or disruptions. Thank you for your understanding.

Provide the option of either receiving store credit or replacement.

Shipping Liability

Claim Process

Go to the UPS claims page and follow the instructions to file a claim. You'll need the tracking number and details about the shipment.

Documentation

Provide photos of the damaged item and packaging, along with proof of purchase (like a receipt) that shows its value, and details about the shipment.

Claim Limits

UPS generally has liability limits, so they may cover the full $150 if the item was properly declared and insured. If you didn't purchase additional insurance, the standard coverage may apply.

​

*Standard coverage (free) : Up to $100.

*Additional coverage (extra) : For values over $100, UPS typically charges $1.50 for every additional $100 of value.

Packaging Standards

UPS may also consider whether the items were adequately packaged. If inadequate packaging contributed to the damage, liability may be contested.

​

Time Frame

Make sure to file your claim within the required time frame—typically within 60 days of the incident.

We cover cost of return shipping, only if the item is defective
